$400,000 Settlement

Cantor Injury Law recovered $400,000.00 from a motorist who admitted to police she was distracted in traffic when she struck our client, who was a pedestrian walking on the shoulder of the road. Our client sustained an eye injury and required surgical intervention. We obtained the automobile policy limits for the distracted driver and filed suit seeking additional recovery under the drivers’ umbrella insurance policy. The driver’s insurer agreed to pay an additional sum under that policy for a total recovery of $400,000.00.
